^Lot 307 4pc Ceramic Lidded Boxes, Wall Decoration & Candleholder

This collection of four decorative ceramic pieces includes works from Europe including England, Italy and Austria. The group features a Charles Field Haviland Limoges hard-paste porcelain wall pocket of fan-like form with a scalloped gilt rim and transfer-decorated daisy sprays. Also included is a miniature porcelain chamberstick featuring a ring handle, three gilt bun feet, and hand-painted floral clusters on a pale blue and cream ground, marked Made in Austria. The third item is an Italian earthenware trinket box in the Majolica style, featuring an oval form and a hand-painted lid depicting two cherubs in a landscape with a repeating geometric border on the base. The final piece is a Royal Doulton fine bone china rectangular trinket box in the Juliet pattern (H 5077), decorated with floral swags and a blue geometric border, bearing a full black backstamp dated 1981.
